Raising conditions

It is generally recognized that animal welfare is assured when an animal’s biological and physiological needs are met and when the producer provides the necessary care as soon as possible. A healthy animal is a productive animal!

Producers make every effort to provide a proper diet and comfortable facilities for the animals. This ensures their good health.

The handling of the animals, the attention shown to the first signs of disease, the care they are given, their physical environment and many other daily actions are done with the ultimate objective of ensuring their welfare. Animal comfort is a constant concern for producers, who take this responsibility seriously. Animal welfare is a duty, because it will have a determining impact on productivity and thus on profitability.
